Sunderland are ready to sell Daryl Murphy to Celtic.
The Daily Mail says the 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who has also been tracked by Rangers, is keen on the move and a deal could be concluded soon.
While Sunderland were initially looking for £1.7million, it's now understood they will accept Celtic's offer of around £1.3m.
Murphy was signed by then Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy in 2005 but was unable to claim a place under Steve Bruce last season and was loaned out to Ipswich.
