Sunderland are chasing Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady.
The Sunday Mirror says Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill has shown interest in both Manchester City's Adam Johnson and Spartak Moscow's McGeady as he makes the signing of a classy wide man one of his priorities this summer.
But both could be out of his price range as their clubs are looking for fees in excess of £10m and Johnson would need to accept a 50% pay cut to return to his native Wearside.
