Sunderland are moving for Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is weighing up a £5m offer to his old club Wigan for goalkeeper Kirkland.
Bruce is still unsure about Craig Gordon, a £9m signing under Roy Keane, and Kirkland ranks highly on his list of possible replacements.
