Sunderland boss Roy Keane is confident of signing Cork City striker Roy O'Donovan, despite negotiations dragging on.

After victory in Ireland over Galway United last night, Keane said: "If we can do the deal quickly all well and good.

"If not, we're determined to make sure Roy is a Sunderland player. Whatever road we have to go down to make sure of that, we're trying to do everything possible."
