Sunderland boss Roy Keane is planning to push through a deal for Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy.
The Daily Mail says Keane's hopes have been boosted by Galatasaray having an approach for the South Africa striker rejected by Blackburn.
Keane intends to offer £7 million for McCarthy.
