Sunderland are eyeing Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass.
The Sunderland Echo says Snodgrass is on Sunderland's radar, though Hull City are rated as favourites to land the Scot.
Sunderland sporting director Lee Congerton made a scouting trip to Norwich at the end of last season, although it is unclear whether Snodgrass was the subject of his attentions.
