Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon insists the players are in the dark over their next manager.
Sam Allardyce remains favourite to replace Roy Keane and Quinn wants a boss in place before the transfer window opens.
Scottish keeper Gordon said: "We players just keep out of it - you never know who is going to come in. Our game against West Brom is hugely important.
"Win and things will look a lot better. Lose and the mood would really change for the worse."
