Sunderland are set to perform a clearout of their young fringe players.

Striker Ryan Noble will be among those to be offloaded in the summer.

The Journal says Noble will depart Sunderland as part of a major clear-out of Academy players in the summer, which will also see Adam Reed, Roarie Deacon and Craig Lynch leave the club. Reed has joined fellow League One strugglers Portsmouth for a month, while Lynch is also available on loan.
