Former USA national head coach Bob Bradley has emerged as a serious contender to replace Dick Advocaat in the vacant Sunderland managerial post.
It was reported that Sam Allardyce was the firm favourite to step in at the Stadium of Light, however, The Express has reported that the former West Ham boss has snubbed Sunderland's advances leading to the Black Cats owners to look elsewhere.
Bradley, currently manager of Norwegian club Stabaek, has apparently been in contact with the Sunderland chairman Ellis Short and expressed his interest in taking over on Wearside.
