QPR are lining up a move for Sunderland midfielder Steed Malbranque.
The Daily Mail says Black Cats boss Steve Bruce hopes to off-load Malbranque to QPR this week.
The Frenchman is a former Tottenham and Fulham player and would welcome a return to London.
Malbranque could join QPR as a direct replacement for unsettled midfield star Adel Taarabt.
