Sunderland's £9 million goalkeeper Craig Gordon says he can live with the pressure of his price-tag.
"I can't concern myself with that. I just have to go out and do what I do. It is out of my control.
"I hope I am not as busy as the last goalkeepers here when Sunderland were in the Premiership but they have strengthened the squad this time and there is a desire to make an impact in the league. I want to be a part of that.
"They have spent a lot of money. If you want to do something in the Premiership then you have to spend the money. They are showing their ambition and that makes the club very attractive."
