Brazilian defender Marcos Camozzato has given up waiting on a move to either Newcastle United or Sunderland.
Camozzato's agent had claimed that the Standard Liege right-back was a target for the Tyne-Wear rivals.
He said: "Newcastle, West Ham, Blackburn and Sunderland want him.
"But Standard have received no bids."
And the 27-year-old has now signed for Liege's Belgian league rivals Club Bruges on a three-year contract.
