Gus Poyet is set to be unveiled as new Sunderland manager tomorrow - his appointment was announced this morning.
Sunderland's director of football Roberto De Fanti has landed his number one target to replace Paolo Di Canio, eight months after failing to secure the former Brighton and Hove Albion manager as Martin O'Neill's successor.
Poyet has agreed a three-year deal to take over at the Stadium of Light and he is expected to be introduced at a press conference on Wearside on Wednesday.
