Sunderland are interested in Lazio striker Sergio Floccari.
TMW says Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio is returning to his former club for the centre-forward.
Floccari is viewed at Sunderland as an alternative to Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella.
Di Canio hopes a bid of €3 million will be enough to convince Lazio to sell.
