Reports suggest that Sunderland are nearing a transfer for Emanuele Giaccherini.
The 28-year old Juventus winger has been linked with the Black Cats for the past few weeks and it is believed that a £6.8million deal will be complete by the weekend.
Juve sporting director Beppe Marotta has authorised the move indicating that Giaccherini will be on his way to the Stadium of Light along with a plethora of fellow new signings on Wearside.
