Sunderland are in talks with Valencia over fullback Aly Cissokho.
The Evening Chronicle says Sunderland have been in contact with Valencia and Cissokho about a move to Wearside this summer.
Cissokho has also attracted loan interest from Liverpool.
Brescia fullback Fabio Daprela has also been linked with Sunderland.
