Sunderland's fit-again midfielder David Meyler enjoyed 90 minutes for the reserves in yesterday's victory over Wigan Athletic.
Meyler played 90 minutes and captained Keith Bertschin's reserve side as they ran out 3-1 winners against Wigan.
The Republic of Ireland youngster played his first full game at Eppleton this season as he continued his comeback from a long-term knee injury.
