Sunderland have made a £14 million offer for Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch.
The People says Crouch is set to move to Sunderland after Black Cats boss Steve Bruce made a £14million bid that matches Portsmouth's asking price.
Crouch will be the second big name to leave Fratton Park this summer - Glen Johnson joined Liverpool last month.
Crouch knows that he has still to convince England boss Fabio Capello that he should be on the plane to next year's World Cup Finals in South Africa and wants to play for a club that won't be fighting relegation next term.
