Sunderland manager Moyes praises Man City, Everton target Pickford

David Moyes heaped praise on Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford after the Black Cats loss to Arsenal on Tuesday night.

The match ended 2-0, despite Arsenal amassing 13 shots on target, and Moyes was adamant the score would have been a lot more had Pickford not been between the sticks.

"Jordan made some wonder saves at different times," said Moyes. "Good on him – everyone who follows Sunderland knows just how good he is."

Pickford is valued by the Black Cats at £30m, with a host of clubs including Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool, all reportedly interested in acquiring his services.
