Sunderland make third bid for unsettled Leicester striker Ulloa

Sunderland have stepped up their interest in Leonardo Ulloa with a third bid of £7.5m plus add-ons 24 hours after the forward said he was going on strike.

The future of the 30-year-old Argentine now rests in the hands of the Foxes who have, so far, insisted they won't sell to a Premier League rival, regardless of the price.

With Sunderland having bids of £3m and £5m rising to £7m rejected, Sky Sports understand the Premier League strugglers have raised their offer to £7.5m plus potential add-ons.
