Sunderland legend Kevin Phillips intends to play on next season.

Phillips is delighted with his goal scoring form for Blackpool this term.

Phillips said: "I will definitely play for another year. Whether it is here, I don't know. I've not thought that far ahead.

"Let's just see what happens this season and what we do.

"If we go to Wembley and get promoted, then that would be great. But I am not going to make any ­decisions just yet."
