Sunderland have jumped to the head of the queue for Swansea City striker Danny Graham.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland have emerged as favourites to sign Graham after lining up a bid for the £5million-rated Swansea striker.
With Fraizer Campbell out of contract at the end of the season and heading to Hull for a cut-price fee, Martin O'Neill has moved to reinforce his striking options by targeting Gateshead-born Graham.
Though there is also interest from Norwich, Aston Villa, West Brom, Reading and Southampton, O'Neill looks to be in pole position to take the 27-year old back to his native north-east.
