Sunderland kid Henderson happy with central role

Sunderland youngster Jordan Henderson is happy with his central role.

Henderson is covering in the absence of Lee Cattermole.

"When I was really young I played in the centre of midfield," he said. "But as I got older I went to the right of midfield, through the under-18s and obviously when I went on loan to Coventry as well.

"But since I came back here in pre-season I've played in the centre of midfield and really enjoyed it.

"You get more involved in the game, to be honest, you get more chances to show what you can do. I'm enjoying playing there at the minute."
