Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has extended his loan with Carlisle United to the end of the season.
Sunderland have agreed to let the 20-year-old remain with the Cumbrians until the end of the season, to give him the opportunity to continue his development with regular first-team football.
Carlisle boss and ex-Sunderland midfielder Graham Kavanagh said: "Again, his parent club have been absolutely fantastic and I think they know he is getting valuable pitch time and experience with us.
"He's shown some good things and he's working hard to improve all the time."
