Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet admits he has some improving to do before he is a top-class Premier League player.

The 23-year old Belgian has become the number one gloveman at the Stadium of Light this term but is aware he must continue to get better for the good of himself and the club.

"I'm still learning because it's only my second season and I hadn't played 30 (Premier League) games until the West Bromwich Albion game," he told The Journal.

"I just want to look to myself, try and improve every day and work hard in training.

"Then we will see what's going to happen."
