Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has shrugged off talk of a summer move away.

Mignolet has been linked with Arsenal.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "I will be going away with Belgium first of all and I will focus on that.

"Afterwards, I am abroad, so I am not going to really read the English newspapers.

"I will not get carried away by the speculation. I will keep my feet on the ground. When you are playing well, there will be stories written about you.

"During the off-season, there is only one thing to write about - transfers, not football.

"If your name is going to be linked, that is how life is."
