Vito Mannone has assured Sunderland fans he's happy on Wearside.
The Italian goalkeeper was reported to have become unsettled after the arrival of Costel Pantilimon from Manchester City.
However, a statement from the Mannone camp was released to the Sunderland Echo: "I don't know where this false speculation is coming from but I want to let supporters know that there is absolutely nothing in it.
"I have not asked for a transfer and I have no intention of doing so."
