Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon is in line to return to action well ahead of schedule.
Gordon hasn't played since breaking his arm at Spurs in early November following a second-half challenge from Jermaine Defoe.
But the Scottish international has been progressing well under the direction of medical staff and could be back in training ahead of schedule.
Gordon had been expected to return some time in February, but manager Steve Bruce told safc.com: "The news on Craig is excellent.
"He could be back playing in a couple of weeks."
