Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to send defender Nyron Nosworthy away on-loan.

The Journal says Hull City failed in a bid to sign Nosworthy, who was also a target for Portsmouth.

But there are a host of Championship sides keen on taking Nosworthy on loan, and he could be on the move when the 'emergency loan' window opens next week for clubs outside the top flight.
