Sunderland join Man Utd in following Pescara pair Lorenzo Insigne, Moussa Kone

Pescara midfielder Moussa Kone is being watched by Sunderland.

Tuttosport says there has been a string of scouts, including from Sunderland, following his progress during his 19 Serie B outings this season, in which he has scored twice.

Interestingly, Manchester United have also been regularly represented at Pescara this season to follow on-loan Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne.

Kone's form will also have been noted by United's Italian chief scout David Williams.
