Sunderland boss Roy Keane is stepping up his bid for Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt.
The News of the World says Keane is set to use his skipper Dean Whitehead in part exchange for Hunt.
The Sunderland boss also fancies Royals striker Kevin Doyle.
