Sunderland's hopes of signing Liverpool striker Fabio Borini are in doubt thanks to Luis Suarez's biting ban.
The Daily Star Sunday says Borini may now remain at Anfield to help cover for Suarez's absence.
The Uruguayan has been banned from all football for four months.
