A move to Sunderland could still be on for West Ham United defender Calum Davenport.

The Times says Sunderland have an option on Davenport after he spent part of last season on-loan at the Black Cats.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce won't move for Davenport, however, until he has exhausted his priority defensive transfer targets list.
