Anthony Reveillere is set to be handed a new deal by Sunderland.
The Evening Chronicle says Reveillere is in talks to extend his stay at Sunderland.
The 35-year-old former France international defender has impressed after he arrived on Wearside in October as a free agent, and signed a short-term deal which runs out at the end of the season.
Reveillere's representative is understood to have held discussions earlier this month with the Black Cats' sporting director Lee Congerton over a new contract, which would likely be a 12-month extension.
