Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is planning a double raid on Tottenham.

The Telegraph says Sunderland are hoping to sign Tottenham pair Jermaine Jenas and Danny Rose as O'Neill looks to belatedly kick-start his summer recruitment drive.

The arrival of midfielder Jenas and left-back Rose will add depth and increase competition and O'Neill is still hoping to land Scotland striker Steven Fletcher from Wolves despite months of fractious haggling over a fee.
