Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio is chasing Manchester City striker John Guidetti.
The Daily Star Sunday says Di Canio is revamping his squad and has stepped up attempts to sign City striker Guidetti, 21.
The Swede didn't see action last season due to a debilitating leg virus, but is again fully fit and enjoys a big reputation thanks to his stunning season on-loan at Feyenoord last year.
