Sunderland, Fulham in for Celtic's Balde

Sunderland and Fulham are chasing Celtic stopper Bobo Balde.

The Guinea international is unwilling to leave even though he is not part of Strachan's plans. He has not been involved in any of the club's games this season but is protected by a £32,000-per-week contract which has two years to run, says The Herald.

Celtic may accept a year-long loan offer from Sunderland or Fulham, and will not be difficult to deal with over a permanent transfer, but they are keen to avoid paying a severance package to the 31 year old.
