Oxford United striker Kemar Roofe remains a target for Premier League clubs.
The Sun says Sunderland, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn have checked on Roofe.
He has scored 25 goals this season to help propel Michael Appleton's squad towards a League Two promotion spot.
Roofe, 23, arrived at the start of the season from West Bromwich after a spell on loan last season but Appleton admitted it would be hard to keep his top scorer.
