Sunderland fear a bidding war for Wolves striker Steven Fletcher.
The Sunday Sun says Martin O'Neill had hoped to have the deal done by now to sign the Scot, who is back at pre-season training with Wolves, while the Black Cats are in South Korea.
Now Fulham and Stoke City have joined Sunderland and Aston Villa in the chase for Fletcher who is rated at £10m, making O'Neill's job more difficult.
