Sunderland face competition for Wolves winger Matt Jarvis.
The Daily Mail says West Ham United are very interested but can't afford him as they prioritise a centre-back next and Sunderland are also keen.
They want two strikers including his teammate Steven Fletcher and that may hinder negotiations unless they tabled around £18million for the two Wolves players. It sounds simple but Sunderland may need to sell first to raise that kind of money.
Everton and QPR will also monitor developments but have other cheaper targets.
