Sunderland are struggling to sign Tigre fullback Lucas Orban.

Orban will leave Club Atletico Tigre this summer and is one of Sunderland's targets, while Spanish side Villarreal and his hometown club River Plate are also interested, says the Evening Chronicle.

The 22-year-old has yet to make a final decision on his destination, but River are understood to be leading the chase.
