Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is eyeing Manchester City midfielder James Milner.
The Daily Mail says O'Neill is keen to tempt Milner to the Northeast, though City will be reluctant to allow him to leave.
However, with City struggling to find buyers for their fringe players, a Milner sale could be considered.
