Sunderland boss Roy Keane has been eyeing Crewe defender Dan Woodards, according to the Sunday papers.

The News of The World reports that Keane is targeting the 24-year-old right-back, who started his career as a trainee at Chelsea.

Woodards joined Crewe from Exeter for £30,000 in February this year.
