Sunderland have decided against appealing Lee Cattermole's red card.
The Journal says Sunderland have decided against appealing Cattermole's red card against Hull City. The midfielder will now miss the next three games.
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has accepted the Black Cats are unlikely to win an appeal. The Football Association has the right to extend suspensions for what it views as "frivolous" appeals.
