Sunderland have slapped a £20 million price-tag on Jordan Henderson.

The Daily Star says Liverpool have yet to make a concrete bid for the 20-year-old midfielder.

But officials have been in touch with Sunderland to check on the availability of the England starlet.

Although boss Steve Bruce does not want to lose his most promising player, if Liverpool were to match the club's valuation he would find it difficult to turn it down.
