Sunderland defender O'Shea: Current Man Ud team among best in history

Sunderland defender John O'Shea rates the current Manchester United team among the best in their history. O'Shea played more than 250 games for United and won the first of his five Barclays Premier League titles in 2003 so he missed the double successes of 1994, 1996 and 1999, when United went one better and won the treble.

He said: "The manager has been fortunate. He's had some great squads to select from but there's no doubt this squad are up there with the best of them. They've got a tough game against Chelsea away from home (in an FA Cup quarter-final replay on Monday) but they're more than capable with the squad they've got.

"They were able to leave players behind and still come away from here with a win. The manager has got pretty much everyone fit and they'll go from strength to strength."

Is O'Shea right? Or is he overhyping the champions-elect? Give us your shout below...
