Sunderland defender Jan Kirchhoff has spoken of his time with Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola.

The German is in no doubt Guardiola will prove a massive hit at Manchester City.

He said: “For me, he is the best coach in the world. Everywhere he goes, he will be successful, including City.

“He is a great person, very honest, very nice and I totally respect him. City will have a great time with him."
