Carlos Cuellar says Sunderland players need to put Paolo di Canio's sacking behind them.
Cuellar was cold-shouldered by the Italian this season, only playing his first game once Di Canio was sacked and Kevin Ball took over temporarily.
The Spaniard, 32, said: "I had never seen anything like it in my life. Now we have to move forward and get over this one person.
"The badge is what is important, that is the history of the club. It is more important than the history of any player or manager."
