Sunderland defender Wes Brown has no regrets leaving Manchester United.
He left Old Trafford in the summer.
Brown, who opted for a switch to Sunderland said: "I didn't play much last season, and that is always the first sign. To be fair, if I had stayed, it would probably have been the same again so it was time to move on.
"Stoke were interested but after I spoke to Steve Bruce, I was always going to come here. Bruce was one of my heroes, along with Gary Pallister. Sunderland are ambitious and are going places."
