Sunderland convinced Hearts will accept Gordon bid

Sunderland boss Roy Keane remains confident of landing Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

The Journal says Keane has made it clear the £8m bid he made for Gordon is his final one.

And although Jambos owner Vladimir Romanov has yet to respond, sources close to the Tynecastle club last night indicated that, with rival offers having failed to materialise, the Lithuanian is expected to reduce the player's price tag to a level acceptable to the Wearsiders.
